As the First Bicycle Mayor of Mumbai, last year I was invited to the fabulous and most relevant expo, the Landscape & Gardening Expo organised by Mr M B Naqvi and his team. As a cyclist I strongly and wholeheartedly endorse the importance of tree plantation in our city's landscape. Trees not only enhance the beauty of our urban environment but also play a crucial role in mitigating the heat island effect, providing much-needed relief from the scorching temperatures.
Reflecting on the beautifully organised Landscape & Gardening Expo in Mumbai, I am filled with inspiration and gratitude. The event was exceptionally insightful, particularly highlighting the critical relationship between urban greenery and air quality.
